MyBodyMyself is an immersive video installation with the theme of women and their bodies. The 20 two minutes videos projected on the walls of underpasses in which each woman in her own words talks about her body, sexuality, changes, expectations, fears and her community’s perception of women’s body in general–challenges the discourse about the body.

The piece aims to reclaim the narrative on women, the body and its changes and confront the language taboo in explaining those changes. The diversity of interviews and experiences underline the social status of women worldwide.

This installation piece breaks the linear cinematic narrative by including the viewer in the construction of the story. Using the surrounding environment to affect the audience, incorporating the space as an element in the narrative structure.
